For Easter Sunday: “On the Ecclesiastical Ramifications of Worship” [a poem]

It’s uncontrollable!

And my person
barely even

But it is.

By joy

If all this were a color
it would be
skyyy pale

Like the look in the skies
of your eyes
as I sit here
In this moment

Staring in the face
Of eternity as the
Living waters continue

Like the skirt.
Of a dress.
Of a girl.
In the wind.

You know.
