Hey, this is one of those posts I have to put up every couple of months apologizing for not having updated things around here on the blog.  As anyone that reads this site knows, I don’t really do “personal” posts very often.  Sure, most every article is timely and has some sort of inspiration within my life, but the resultant product is still more “essay”-y and “article”-y.  This is just the way I am, and I’m fine with that.  But with the immanent demise of my “online magazine” (post on this forthcoming), I might have a place to put those “essays” and “articles” thereby reserving this space for “posts”: you know; quotes, links, quips, thoughts, witticisms, and the like, updated more than once a day.  But as I parentheticized earlier, all this will be talked about in the next week or so.  On to the personal stuff!

This past weekend I moved into my new place in South Philly.

Having become fully integrated into my amazing church home, I’ve found myself living all of my life deeply with people that all live in roughly the same area (save for one or two).  So, after a flurry of events I find myself in a beautiful home in South Philly with some amazing guys.

So, as I settle in, and until I get internet (Comcast or Verizon?  Comcast or Verizon?) at the place, the posts may be sparse for now, or at least short.  Heck, I may even do some reposts of old “classics” for all the newer readers to enjoy.  We’ll see.  but I’ll try to keep this as updated as I can.  Just subscribe to this site in your RSS feed reader, become my friend on Facebook, or follow me on Twitter and you’ll know whenever things pick up again around here.  Also, look out for details on an upcoming House-Warming Show we’re going to have at this yet-to-be-nicknamed Bachelor pad (a show where I will be makig my own musical debut!  God, the thought is terrifying).  But until then, here’s a video I shot of the new place (and for the discerning ear, you can make out The Grey Album in the background–great moving music).  Enjoy!  And if you’re in Philly, come hang out!
